  • Keep your skin calm by applying a hydrating moisturizer or aloe vera gel.


3. No Harsh Skincare Products 🚫

  • For at least 1 week, avoid:
    ❌ Retinol & strong anti-aging serums
    ❌ AHAs, BHAs, and Vitamin C
    ❌ Exfoliants & scrubs
  • Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer to maintain hydration.


4. No Picking or Scrubbing 🙅‍♀️

  • Your skin may be sensitive—do not pick, scrub, or exfoliate, as this can cause irritation and breakouts.


5. Avoid Heat & Sweating for 24–48 Hours 🔥

  • Avoid intense workouts, hot yoga, and activities that cause excessive sweating.


6. Be Gentle with Your Skin 🧖‍♀️

  • Avoid makeup for the first 24 hours if possible, to allow your skin to breathe.
  • If necessary, use light, non-comedogenic products.


7. Use a Clean Pillowcase & Towel 🛏️

  • Change your pillowcase and towel to prevent bacteria from irritating your freshly treated skin.

For advanced treatments, your skin requires extra care and protection. Follow these aftercare steps to ensure proper healing and optimal results:


1. Strict Sun Protection ☀️

  • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2–4 weeks.
  • Always wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 50+) and reapply every 2 hours if outdoors.
  • Consider wearing a wide-brimmed hat for extra protection.


2. Keep Skin Cool & Hydrated 💦

  • No hot showers, steam rooms, or saunas for at least 72 hours.
  • Keep your skin hydrated with fragrance-free, non-irritating moisturizers.
  • Avoid harsh or alcohol-based toners and astringents.


3. No Harsh Skincare for 1–2 Weeks 🚫

  • Avoid using retinol, AHAs, BHAs, Vitamin C, scrubs, and exfoliating products for at least 1–2 weeks.
  • Stick to gentle, non-active ingredients that promote healing.


4. No Picking, Scrubbing, or Touching 🙅‍♀️

  • Your skin may feel dry or flaky—do not pick, scrub, or peel as this can cause scarring.
  • Allow your skin to heal naturally.


5. Avoid Heat, Sweating & Exercise for 72 Hours 🔥

  • No intense workouts, hot yoga, or sweating for at least 72 hours to avoid irritation and inflammation.


6. Avoid Makeup for 48 Hours 💄

  • Avoid applying makeup for at least 48 hours to reduce the risk of clogged pores and irritation.
  • If needed, use mineral-based or non-comedogenic products.


7. Keep Your Skin & Environment Clean 🛏️

  • Change your pillowcase and towel daily for the first few days to avoid bacteria exposure.
  • Cleanse your face with lukewarm water and a gentle, non-foaming cleanser.


8. Follow Any Additional Instructions Given by Your Therapist

  • Depending on the treatment, additional instructions may apply. Always follow your therapist’s advice for the best results.


Healing Timeline:

  • BBL & IPL: Skin may be slightly red and sensitive for 24–48 hours. Some dark spots may temporarily darken before flaking off.
  • Chemical Peels: Expect mild peeling or flaking within 3–7 days. Avoid forcibly removing peeling skin.
  • Microneedling: Redness and mild swelling may occur for 1–3 days. Keep skin well-hydrated.
